The Adventure so far…
It was spring 2004 and the local papers were filled with horror stories about the real estate market, poor service, purchases taking nearly 4 months to complete, people spending money getting to Bulgaria to find the properties they are interested in have gone or just did not exist in the first place.
One woman, Mariana Jeliazkova, had a vision, she knew things could be and should be done differently, better, more efficient and more secure. So BG Home Services Ltd. was formed based on the ethics of excelling in customer service and satisfaction, professionalism and accuracy of information and the purchasing process. A gap in the market had been spotted and Mariana, with an extensive background in the service industry and a thorough understanding of the real estate market, took full advantage by providing assurances to foreign buyers by employing the best people available in their fields.
This was a revelation, almost overnight BG Home Services Ltd. found themselves in a position to grow and with the personnel to make it happen. More new offices came along in Bulgaria- Yambol, Plovdiv, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Vidin and further south along Black Sea Coast.
As word got round the expansion in estate agency offices accelerated and the demand for other services was obvious, it became logical to add other property-based dimensions to the business. The rental and lettings were a natural progression, as well as the addition of Property Management, Architectural and Building Services, Visa and Accountancy and other general help.
Then, realising and fulfilling another need for property buyers, BG Home Services Ltd decided to move its operation to the UK making it easier and more accessible for British buyers to know everything before they even put a foot into an airport. The BG Home Services Operation is run from the head office in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire where a dedicated administrative team ensure the smooth running of all areas of the business and a place for customers to come down, see us, meet us, have their questions answered and receive a level of service others just cannot reach.
BG Home Services Ltd. genuinely strives to offer a level of service that would separate us from our competitors. It’s a hard and complicated industry and we don't always get it right, it would be naive to say so, but in an industry where the public perception is not good before you start, it is essential that we have the knowledge, skills, workforce, and most importantly, the desire and ethics to put things right.
